Three hours left, folks, and we were very excited to wake up to another stretch goal blasted to smithereens! Now all backers at $20 and up will receive the Grifters-themed Invisible Hands electronic supplement! Excelsior!

Our final stretch goal will unlock at $52,000. A hefty goal, but it’s worth it to get there! This is the Upfrancisco Uprising supplement—10K words worth of Upfrancisco setting, missions, and three more playsheets with a new social class!

If we unlock this, that would mean a total of 39,000 words of additional content—which is pretty much an entire new book for free to all backers at $20 and up. Lots of new equipment, sample missions and campaigns, contacts and locations, and a total of six new playsheets to give you more character options! If you can’t tell by the overdose in exclamation points, we’re excited about this!

We’re in the home stretch, folks, and slamming through stretch goals like a raging mob through a corporate barricade.

You’ve just unlocked the Beyond the Walls supplement, which puts us at over 24,000 words of additional content for all backers at $20 and up, at no extra cost! That’s a darned good deal, if you ask us, but then again, we’re biased.

Without further ado, let’s reveal our next stretch goal! Let’s go shopping with the Invisible Hands: The Black Market supplement. Those of you who have been asking for Grifter-adjacent content, this is for you! This 5000 word electronic supplement will include lots of new underworld contacts and plenty of illegal tech to fuel your campaigns. We’ll unlock that at $42,000, which is well within sight!

Uprising: The Melodramatic Campaign Summary

We’re closing in on the last 24 hours of the campaign, so here’s your handy dandy summary of all the things Uprising. As you read, please pretend that this updated is accompanied by melodramatic music to get the full effect.

For those of you who haven’t quite made up your mind about pledge tiers, here are your choices:

• For a $1 pledge, you get instant access to our sneak peek PDF. Not sure if Uprising is for you? Take a look!
• For a $20 pledge, you get instant access to the sneak peek PDF, a copy of the final PDF, the Evil Hat digital bonus pack, a POD secrets deck coupon, and at least 24,000 words worth of electronic supplements in PDF format.
• For a $39 pledge (plus $6 flat shipping within the US), you get all of the things that the $20 pledgers get, plus a physical copy of the hardcover book! How do we get to that stretch goal (and perhaps, the fabled lands of MOAR LAST MINUTE STRETCH GOALS)? At the time I’m writing this update, we’d need 63 more backers at the physical level. Over the past day, we nearly doubled that. So when we say it’s more than doable, we aren’t exaggerating! And you can help by posting about the campaign if you haven’t done it already. Just think—a single tweet could net you a 5000 word supplement. We don’t just write about black market prices, folks. We live them.

An Update on the Uprising

Er. Why are you talking like Igor?

I'm at the Evil Hat annual meeting. After multiple days of intense gaming awesomeness and decision making, we're all a little punchy. If you think my Igor impression is bad, I'm not even going to tell you what Fred's doing.

So did you plan anything exciting?

Well, we're planning to take over the world, mawster! Except...uh...I wasn't supposed to say that aloud. We're definitely planning more awesome games. I CAN tell you about that!

But what about Uprising? And will you please stop with that ridiculous accent? Your impressions are TERRIBLE.

'Tis true. Although when the stars align, I do a halfway decent Strongbad.

Anyway. Uprising! It's plugging along nicely for starters! You all deserve some serious props for bringing us through our initial $10k funding goal and knocking down four exciting stretch goals to boot. Highly observant folks might have noticed that our pending stretch goal graphic has some new hidden goals. The Behind the Walls goal is definitely within reach (it's about $6500 away as I'm writing this), and it's well worth the effort. A whole new city to subvert! Woop woop! And there's more after that if we can get there (which of course we can with your support), so that's even more woops. ALL THE WOOPS.

New art is starting to trickle in, so we'll be sharing some soon! And we've got some excitement coming...like the opportunity to see Uprising in action. I don't know about you all, but seeing the game in play really makes a difference for me in deciding whether it's my cup of tea. We'll get you more info about that in our next update. Whee!
